I am a NBTA Coach and Judge and mother of four. I am also a USTA Professional Member.
I have twirled since the age of 5 after attending a local parade and seeing the magic of a spinning baton. I have been hooked ever since. I am originally from Milwaukee, WI and now live in Bel Air, MD.

Feature Twirler at Whitefish Bay High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Feature Twirler for the Tiger Marching Band of Towson University, Lead Seat on the Crew Team for Loyola University Rowing Team, member of the Women’s Soccer Team for Loyola university, previously taught Yoga, Group Fitness, AquaAreobics, Kickboxing, Step, and Personal Training, other activities include dance, gymnastics, golf and soccer.
Holds a degree in Accounting from Loyola University, MD. Also, has several certifications for Fitness including: Yoga, Group Fitness, Personal Training, AquaAreobics, Kick Boxing and much more.

Instructor - Brook Necker
I was a member of Scotties Baton and Dance in Pennsylvania competing in regional and national competitions. I was also a high school majorette and has experience in coaching baton and dance. After years away, Brook is thankful to have a daughter who enjoys twirling. She looks forward to coaching and being involved with such a great sport once again. Last year, Brook coached the Juvenile Team to first place multiple times and we look forward to her leadership with this team again this year!

April White is originally from Baltimore, Maryland, where she began her classical training at the age of nine. April trained with the Art of Classical Ballet under the direction of Magaly Suarez. In 2014, she was awarded a Gold Medal at the Youth America Grand Prix and the American Dance Competition. She also received full scholarships to the Académie Princesse Grace in Monte-Carlo, Orlando Ballet, Houston Ballet, and Ellison Ballet as well as an invitation to perform in the Florida Youth Dance Gala. In 2015, April joined Orlando Ballet as a trainee where she was invited to perform at The Young Medalists Gala at the Miami International Ballet Festival. April furthered her training and began her dance instruction at the Russian Ballet of Orlando, where she performed principal roles in Swan Lake, Coppélia, Esmeralda, and The Nutcracker. In 2017, she returned to her hometown to join the Ballet Theatre of Maryland. In 2019, April joined First State Ballet Theatre as a Professional Dancer and Teacher for The FSBT School. April’s passion is sharing her knowledge and love of dance with her students!

I am a Lab Technician at GoreTech and recent graduate of the University of Scranton with a degree in neuroscience. I twirled for my school and have twirled since I was 8 years old. I have also danced since I was very young, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach dance and baton to the team. In the future, I plan to attend grad school. Last summer, at the national championships, I competed once again in the Collegiate Championships and College Miss Majorette of America.

Assistant Coach - Angela Boeren
Angela began her twirling career at the tender age of 2! Over the years she has won many titles on the local, state and regional level. Her greatest accomplishment was winning the title of Intermediate World Duet Champion with her partner and BFF Rebecca Grove at AYOP held at Notre Dame in 2015. Angela was a Featured Twirler for The John Carroll High School in Bel Air, MD were she graduated in 2019. She is currently a junior at Shippensburg University and twirls with the Shippensburg University Red Raider Marching Band.

I am a junior at John Carroll School and one of their feature twirlers. I have twirled my whole life and I love any opportunity I have to teach. I won the Maryland Intermediate State Pageant in 2018 and a National Show Twirl at AYOP. This past summer I won GOLD, SILVER and 4 BRONZE medals at the AAU/Jr Olympics in Houston. I have twirled my whole life and my dream is to win College Miss Majorette of America and become a feature twirler in college.

I am a Senior at C Milton Wright High School where I am the Feature Twirler for the band. I love teaching new people about baton and helping them develop new skills. I am a two-time All American Girl Model winner for 2017 and 2019. I won the Maryland Beginner State Pageant in 2018 as well as the Maryland Intermediate State Pageant in 2019 and placed top ten at both the National Pageants. This past summer I won 3 GOLD and 4 BRONZE medals at the AAU/Jr Olympics in Houston.

Hi, I’m Gianna! I am a Junior at John Carroll and I am one of the two John Carroll feature twirlers. I have been twirling for 11 years and I have always loved teaching. I am very excited to teach baton because I have always wanted to share the sport with new people and help them learn more about baton! This past summer I won 2 GOLD, SILVER, and 3 BRONZE medals at the AAU/Jr Olympics in Houston.
